Its been a while since my last post .. i think and i just wanted to show you guys my latest Mani!! It is after all Vallontine's Day ...eve!! and i had to do some festive nails to kind of take my mind off of the fact that tomorrow is more like Singles Awareness Day lol. Soo i went into my stash, and decided to use my FIMO sticks. If your not familiar with them here's a crash course. They're clay sticks that can b sliced paper thin and used for a number of things (mainly nail art) because they're so small. I bought mine on EBay i got 100 sticks for 1 dollar. YES one amazing dollar. that of course didn't include shipping from Asia or where ever. but because they're so small they're rather light so it wasn't much!
Ne who on to the Mani details:
-for this lover's Mani i started off with my normal base coat (nail strengthener)
- then i used 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Commander in Chic
On the ring and thumb fingers I did as follows
-3 to 4 dots of white (Klean Color)
-3 to 4 dots of red (Salsa by China Glaze)slightly overlapping the white dots
-3 to 4 light pink (PINK by NK Cosmetics) dots to try and connect is all (the idea is to create the illusion of a lot of cascading and overlapping dots)
-then i placed a dollop of clear in an open space next to the dots
- i put the FIMO heart on top of the clear and then IMMEDIATELY placed another dollop of clear on top of the heart to seal it.
---- the last step is EXTREMELY important, why? because if you do not put anything on top of the nail art the edges will begin to curl and you will end up with a huge hot mess of a nail on your hand.... *looks over glasses* NOT CUTE!
I let the nails set for a while and then went over them all completely with clear polish!
in the pic my pinkie looks a little janky because i had to be a superhero in the midst of my manicure.... don't ask!
I hope you all have a wonderfully magical and overall blessed Valentine's Day! Until we meet again! adieu mi amours!!! Val
sidenote- i know my picture quality sucks major
